Complete the tutorial
Detect a glow, dig the item, clean it at the Workstation, then sell or display. This unlocks the Shop > Codes tab. Codes will not redeem until the tutorial is complete.
Redeem UPDATE1 immediately
Open Shop, scroll to the bottom, enter UPDATE1 in the Codes box, hit Redeem. You now have a 2x Luck boost for 30 minutes of real time.
Buy Copper Detector and Stone Shovel
Copper Detector (500 Gold, x3 Luck) and Stone Shovel (1,600 Gold, Power 3) are the cheapest meaningful upgrades. Skip Wood Shovel — Stone is the better return.
Fill every museum pedestal first
Tourists pay Gold for displayed items. Empty pedestals earn nothing. Stock the museum with your best cleaned finds before you start selling.
Polish one Rare+ item to test pricing
Use the Polishing Station to bump a Rare+ item up one condition tier. Watch the value change to learn the Condition multiplier before committing to large grinds.
Plan travel Gold
Bank roughly 5,000-10,000 Gold after filling the museum. Talk to the pirate NPC at the far end of the dig area to unlock Shipwreck Cove.
